Apulia is an area in south Italy and is shoreline to the Adriatic Sea. Most people would call the area the boot of Italy; and even though it may be the heel it has premium golfing. Most people think that football is so popular that the citizens don't take time to play much of anything else. However golf is a very popular sport in the country of Italy. Last year there were about 100,000 register players in the country. Let's not forget there are several professionals that hail from Italy and the Italian Golf Open that takes place there. Taking golfing breaks Italy style means traveling a lot of quaint country; a well worth expense.
