The Lack of Golfing Magazines

Have you been to the news rack recently and noticed the lack of golfing magazines? I recently went to a franchised drug store and found myself in the magazine section checking out the magazines on the rack. I was curious what was popular and noticed an overall small selection of golf related publications. I'm not sure if it is due to the economy or just a lack of readers that golf; strange since I live next to three golf resorts within a 5 mile radius.
