Did you know that the grass around the hole is called the table-land? It is know called the putting green; which happened around 1812. For the most part a player has to play a ball if it lands in a hole or other rough of the green. However a rule from 1952 changed the rules so a player didn't have to play rabbit scrapes. The nostalgic memories are some of the first ideas that rise to our minds; ideas and images like Alan Shepherd golfing on the moon. Those moments in America's history when we reflected within ourselves are some of the most heartfelt that will never be let go. When you are out on the greens aim away from discussions on politics. Instead let those moments you cherish force you to perform your best.
