Golfing Holiday Como Lake in Italy

Como Lake is located in Lombardy, Italy. It is known as a glacier lake and is the third biggest lake in Italy. It is also known as one of the deepest lakes in all of Europe; 1320 feet deep and 656 below sea level. An acquaintance of mine recently took a trip to Como Lake before telling me all about it. It is lined with all sorts of fancy Italian villas and the smell of money is almost as thick as the pollution in the lake; which is so polluted you risk your health bathing in it. There are a handful of golf courses near the lake; Cassina Rizzardi being a 36-hole near by. The closest is Menaggio; a par 70.
